Consulting Experience

Mark Hodgson is an international organisational and leadership assessment and development professional with extensive experience in the design, management and implementation of organisational development (OD) and leadership executive assessment and development solutions within global FTSE & Fortune 100 companies both in the EMEA and North American regions. Commercially focused and a practical thinker Mark has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work at all organisational levels.

Mark’s areas of expertise include advising on talent and strategic workforce planning approaches, implementing global succession management strategies, developing global, leadership and change management strategies and setting up global talent assessment initiatives for a range of clients both locally and internationally. 

Mark brings his experience of overseeing successful large scale global projects in a number public and private sector organisations and has been extensively involved in benchmarking practices, validating initiatives, embedding leadership frameworks and implementing executive leadership development programmes. He has a track record of being able to successfully link leadership interventions to wider strategic initiatives as well as enhancing overall organisational effectiveness.
Business/Organisational Leadership Experience

Mark has held senior positions at the Ministry of Justice, BG Group, the Gallaher Group and Aon. Mark has a wide range of consultancy experience across a number of industries and sectors. 

He has worked with a Government task force, to design a National management competency framework, competency based pay and performance management system for the UK teaching profession (Government Educational Action Zone). Mark has also worked with public sector clients including the Metropolitan Police, and Manchester Police.
